confessions of an heiress

I struggled to wake up on Saturday morning because I had late supper on Friday.. Watched the repeat of the show "Project Superstar" because I have missed the actual telecast ..Afterwhich I was contented listening to Wei Jian's "Liao Jie", I hurriedly rush to get out of the house in time for class. Class was horrible... super slow & superduper tough.. I literally decided to drop these two topics completely.. Mathematical/ Linear Programming.. I can't manage it at all! Not unless a miracle happen or else I had better put all my eggs in the other baskets..

My friend fetched me to Plaza Sing after class.. And we decided to just shop around since there is no movie we yearn to watch.. I also reminded myself not to purchase anymore clothing... Really had enough of them already, period that is.. We walked into Times the bookshop aimlessly as I began to roam around the unfamiliar shelves of books.. I was bored because there is nothing I intend to buy from there, I can't possibly grab a novel as I have no time and excess money for one.. After much roaming, I went to my favorite biography section, a book caught my eyes, "Confession of An Heiress" by Paris Hilton, yes.. this is that gal (of "The Simple Life") who tons of people deemed as being the Rich bitch aka Super Spoilt Barbiedoll Bimbo who had written this piece in 2004, with an indeed sexy attractive pinky hardcover. (I know this book had been there for a long while already but this is the first time I actually took an interest to it)

I took my time browsing... flipping page to page, seeing what she can offer me, definitely a lot of BarbieDolls-liked photos of her, all glamorous & dropdead gorgeous... I love, love and absolutely LOVE looking at pretty babes! She's quite versatile actually because she look good in both short cuts n long hair..with exaggerating makeup or without... A piece of advice is for you to read this book lightheartedly, then the contents won't be exactly as terrible & bimboistic as you thought. At least you should try to be abit more generous with this privileged heiress...she who truly believes in herself.. loves & takes real care of her dog, Tinkerbell, one who ain't afraid to flaunt her wealth & status, lastly, one who aint afraid to try things an heiress shouldn't..
There are also some entertaining things that only she could put it across, she believes heiress cant be seen without a GOOD looking boyfriend.. so the book also features some of her ex-bf Nick Carter's photos with her.. She thinks that men are into Stomach, which explains why she always flaunting her midriffs... She also loves wearing Tiaras, and this is one I truly admit that even I wouldn't mind doing the same, if only given her privileges or maybe just once in awhile..

Ok, enough review given for this old book (in case people now deemed me as one of those readers with low self-esteem, I'm not, okay?! I'm also not a huge fan of her) and in case u r wondering, of course I didn't buy this book! But I'm surprised that she and I actually have one small thing in common, haha, it is the page where she listed the guys she find charming & sexy, Jude Law! Brad Pitt! Johnny Depp! Same taste same taste definitely! hahaha...

genting trip

Im abit late in posting the details of the Genting trip but late is better than never right?... kekez... We took a late-night coach there so I spent the first nite on my coach seat figuring the best way to doze off without breaking or sprainning my neck & legs.. pretty uncomfortable as I keep fidgeting and tossing throughout the bumpy ride. We reached our destination at about 4am+ .. We all are feeling so lethargic yet we can't checked in our hotel til 12pm... haha.. believe it or not but this is to save a day's costs.. So we chose the best alternative to kill time, eat and gamble away the spare time on hand...
We ate McDonald' there and surprise... surprise, their Mac have no Pancakes for breakfast.

=( we gals look at the menu disgustedly.. I pity the young kids over there! hahaha... Then after breakfast we go to the Firstworld Casino straight away... Its my first time there and Im quite fascinated by the number of Jackpot machines and gambling tables they have... the guard checked my passport wor but I blamed it wholly on my big red studious spectacle Im wearing...haha... Later on, we explore around the casino for the two days and NOPE!!! I have no beginner's luck at all! =( *1000 ... I spent almost all my ringgits feeding those greedy jackpot machines over there and the only pathetic souvenirs I got from the trip was my two Pinky shoes I bought at the Vinci store there... haha.. and oh ya, I almost forgot to mention I ate bout 6-7 meals there on an average!... Desperately need to cut down weight now... certainly , I noticed it takes a day for me to put on weight and it takes > a yr to cut it back... Conclusion: never pig out else u might regret..

*im abit lazy to draft more details on the trip.. haha..

not a good review

I managed to catch the movie "The Maid" this time round, friday mid-night show, with proper planning and booking so we got away with good seats.. =) contented... I'm not good at giving movie reviews, but I say its not as good as anticipated, the sudden loud shrieking sound effects and ghastly scenes were indeed frightening to some, but for me, the ploy was obviously frictional cum too deliberate..
Arsenal won 2-0 against Newcastle in their first Premiereship match today! yEy! New home currant-colored jersey (I also saw the yellow new away kit) and the last season in Highbury stadium! Its still weird seeing no Viera in mid-field for us (with our new skipper, smart & cunning Thierry Henry), but we will continue to growing from strength to strength! Go Fabregas! Go Ljungberg! Although we did fumble in the Community shield last week against the Blues, but I'm not worried, we kept good possession and dominance so I think the season 2005/06 ahead could still be a good one for us..

National Day

Today is our Nation's 40th Birthday... So..Happy National Day Singapore! *throws some orchids in the air for drama effect.. Haha..
Delighted that today is Public holiday aka Rest & Slack day for me...
Yesterday..Monday.. Went to work.. my Auditors are in town! so definitely some document compilation has to be done for them, inevitable.. Then headed to my MSM class in school.. listened to the lecturer rattles on & on when Bernice, Xueting & me are already in the holiday mood, then I went to catch the midnight movie, Land of the Dead with my friend. We actually intended to watch another movie, The Maid, but because I didn't replied his invitation on time, the tickets were sold out! According to him, everywhere in Singapore were sold out! haha... so it gave him the chance to grumble and blamed it all on my late reply.. haha.... But I got my excuses . First, I wasn't sure whether after my classes at 10pm, I would be too lethargic to watch the movie, right? And also I was busy, I have to hunt for my auditor's stuff first before I could knock off in time for school so I simply forgot to reply him... Anyway his brother decided on Land of The Dead for us when actually I was considering Charlie & the Chocolate Factory... Having not much expectations on this film as I haven't heard of it beforehand, I find it quite interesting.. Its about this enclosed fenced area/ town of all Dead people (or zombies with inactive brains) roaming around, all looking horrible and bloody disgusting, how they might escape to the living urban city..how some heros attempt to guard the ground and keep them within their zone.. and there were ample brutal scenes of Eating and Tearing living humans etc (its only rated M-18, so its not that bad) ... I'm not going to disclose the storyline here but I think it's quite a decent movie you can consider to watch.. to me, it also reflects on how some living human beings can be eventually as disgusting & loathsome as the dead actually... because of the word "greed"..
