after 4 days of rest.. Im back in action!! hahaha.. in fact i nvr did left lah.. was always "actioning" my own mini drama serial.. haha.. while i was tryin to log in from home to blog on Monday.. my home pc failed me again! the modem lah.. always haywire one.. lousy!
i watched the Departed, my only movie in the long break.. its the remake of my Tony Leung ( I adore Him!) & Andy Lau's Infernal Affairs.. verdict? eh.. okie lah.. I think Jack Nicholson's acting was indeed superior.. kinda shine to me.. as for the storyline.. its almost the same as the Chinese version so dont expect too much.. Leonardo DiCaprio is still good.. but I "hiam" Matt Damon not "mean" enough.. Its a remake.. so i stil think original is slightly better.. 150 mins show (longlong) with big casts.. stil considered worth-watchin..
Shopping was inevitable for me in long breaks lah.. but nothing much worth mentioning from my shoppin trips.. was lookin for my new bed from IKEA but havent decided upon one yet.. low budget so look around for alternatives for awhile more first..
the rest of the time i spent "unmeaningfully" watching Dvds.. its only my second or third? korean show - My Lovely Sam Soon.. im not into Korean dramas actually so I only choose funnier light-hearted ones..
i was kinda looking forward to watch it in the past but could nvr be in time to catch it from Channel U.. luckily now with the dvds, i can work in my own sweet pace.. I can marathon with Sam soon & gang!.. This kinda story line always appeal to me.. i mean with a main female Character that is plump, clumsy but witty yet super-candid (like me! =P).. down-to-earth and direct.. someone like Bridget Jones. Of coz i did like it.. plus she's a real comedian siah & quite talented.. so i watched until quite "song".. I fell for the main male lead character as well.. her boss in the show lah.. coz he's got "enduring" looks.. not strikingly handsome but the more u see, the more suave he appears type.. i prefer his character inside den the other "Henry".. becoz the Henry is too typically model-y handsome (like the Barbie Doll Ken, u know?) & nice.. so far-fetch.. unrealistic! I haven't finished the whole Sam soon serial yet.. jus a lil more to go.. im fast hor..
other things blog later.. gotta do my paper work first.. im always drowned by my paperwork in office.. argghhh..

im kinda busy after the Bintan trip.. catchin up with my dearest and super busy with work becoz auditor Bernice was in town.. then my director is going overseas so im tryin to rush everything for him & his trip..
the trip was fun! i think its becoz my companions were fun.. the resort is not impressive to me.. similar to any local chalet... and the worst thing is the sandfiles bite ive got!! super itchy + super ugly.. unbearable itch leh!! after awhile when i eventually went to the doctor.. he say may leave scars!!~!! =( and take longtime to heal.. really a bummer man.. sucks.. hate my legs now.. so many bites!! ugly!! itchy..
ohyah.. i won second prize lucky draw during the AD&D.. $600.. haha
anyway.. photos already in my friendster.. go there & browse k? lazy upload here.. jus put one here enough..

VivoCity Opening on 7 Oct!
Weekend was basically spent doing 3 things.. 1) Go VivoCity check it out on its opening. 2) Watch Jackie Chan's Rob-B-Hood. 3) Do my hair.
Conclusion: Louis Koo is still drop-dead gorgeous.. haha.. I've always like handsome guys acting comedy roles.. The more exaggerated-wacky role, the merrier! Therefore I liked it.. Thumbs up! somemore the typical jackie fighting scenes were more realistic this time round.. and with an angelic-cutie-babyboy involve.. the movie is quite enjoyable & entertaining..
but im weird lah.. with alot of funny dialogues & scenes to be picked , I think the funniest is when the traffic police checkpoint snap shots of the speeding villains & the person holding the guns said: "im holdin a gun, quick flee la! waiting for prize ceremony meh?" me the weirdo think this prize awarding part is damn hilarious..
Oh ya.. VivoCity is huge!!.. Larger than Taka, think Taka plus Wisma.. Larger than Suntec and even Marina Square.. only 60% of the stores were open.. so when I was there, my life was almost endangered!.. haha.. becoz i was famished.. and the only few food providers opened were Sushi Teh & Pacific Coffee Company.. couldnt find any food and the Sushi Tei queue actually needed 1 hr! I almost fainted but luckily, with my last conserved energy, while we made our way to try to walk (i almost can crawl le) to World Trade Centre to find anything edible to fill my empty grouchy stomach, we found the Tangs Studio cafe!.. a lil cafe which saved my life in the middle of nowhere! (the smoked salmon spag is the best I've eaten so far!.. mayb becoz im famished la) .. Later on which i learnt, we can actually walked to the linked HorbourFront Centre which have lots of common yummy food in it.. so friends, pls dont be like me! Starved & no energy to walk in the big mall at all! Go Harbourfront Center fill up first!
Back to the stores in Vivo, take a look in the Directory, Everything was there!.. I mean almost Every brand!.. Interesting names to me would be the NafNaf store, Gap store, Principles store.. and in case if these dont appeal to u.. the traditional stores like Levis, A/X, Domanchi, MANGO, ZARA, M)phosis, Topshop are all in the mall too!!.. ALOT ALOT loh!!.. let's say only for the sports apparel brands alone.. already have: Adidas, PUMA, NIKE, FILA, Nautica, Kappa, Converse , Everlast stores are all inside!!! isnt it fasicinating!?!! Oh ya, there's even a Daiso store there! yey! Basically whatever brand u can think of, it should be in there lah.. even if not there, substitutes can be found.. Im definitely going to enjoy going there after the shops are fully open & renovated..

I was reading this email & it kinda touched me.. too long so i jus post half of it. its the 3rd lesson that touched me really.. although i think i may have read it b4 sometime ago, but the 3rd lesson still attracts me.. here we go...
Five (5) lessons to make you think about the way we treat people.
1 - First Important Lesson - Cleaning Lady.
During my second month of college, our professorgave us a pop quiz. I was a conscientious studentand had breezed through the questions until I read the last one:"What is the first name of the woman who cleans the school?" Surely this was some kind of joke. I had seen the cleaning woman several times. She was tall,dark-haired and in her 50's, but how would I know her name? I handed in my paper, leaving the last questionblank. Just before class ended, one student asked if the last question would count toward our quiz grade."Absolutely," said the professor. "In your careers,you will meet many people. All are significant. They deserve your attention and care, even if all you dois smile and say "hello." I've never forgotten that lesson. I also learned hername was Dorothy.
2. - Second Important Lesson - Pickup in the Rain
One night, at 11:30 P.M., an older African American woman was standing on the side of an Alabama highway trying to endure a lashing rainstorm. Her car hadbroken down and she desperately needed a ride. Soaking wet, she decided to flag down the next car. A young white man stopped to help her, generallyunheard of in those conflict-filled 1960's. The mantook her to safety, helped her get assistance andput her into a taxicabShe seemed to be in a big hurry, but wrote down hisaddress and thanked him. Seven days went by and aknock came on the man's door. To his surprise, agiant console color TV was delivered to his home. A special note was attached.. It read: "Thank you so much for assisting me on the highwaythe other night. The rain drenched not only my clothes, but also my spirits. Then you came along. In the days when an ice cream sundae cost much less, a 10-year-old boy entered a hotel coffee shop and sat at a table. A waitress put a glass of water infront of him."How much is an ice cream sundae?" he asked."Fifty cents," replied the waitress. The little boy pulled is hand out of his pocket and studied the coins in it."Well, how much is a plain dish of ice cream?" he inquired. By now more people were waiting for a table and the waitress was growing impatient."Thirty-five cents," she brusquely replied. The little boy again counted his coins. "I'll have the plain ice cream," he said. The waitress brought the ice cream, put the bill on the table and walked away. The boy finished the icecream, paid the cashier and left. When the waitress came back, she began to cry as she wiped down the table. There, placed neatly beside the empty dish, were two nickels and five pennies.. You see, he couldn't have the sundae, because he had to have enough left to leave her a tip.
Aww.. awfully sweet boy ya? I jus hope everyone else is as honest & nice as him.. dont always assume other pple are out to hurt/ cheat u and be so defensive.. dont complicate things when it can be purely simple.. spread some love as well as and dont always expect anything in return..

anyway sept is a month when I will be damn broke.. jus paid for the sch fees for sem 2.. oopps.. forgot to pay the London study guide package yet.. errr... will do it later this week.. Remind me ah!!
and and so mannnny pple's birthday!! including yours truly of coz.. =P
Brother's birthday just pass with a blink of my eyes, so fast over le and we hardly had time to talk to each other.. everyone's busy i guess.. I loved what I bought for him.. nice, classic & practical.. as usual! =) think he likes it hor.. heh heh..
now is my dearest turn.. hope he would like whatever i buy.. still cant decide among the many choices which would be my final decision... argghhh.. tough.. jus want the best for him mah..
and also some pretty friend's birthday like Gwen, Maggie, Kimmi!! Think got more to spend leh.. yeap also colleague's birthday budget.. hahahhaa.. merry merry!! but broke lah..
oh my results out alrdy.. kinda hit me as poor results initially.. but after awhile, i think they are fine actually.. afterall, i did manage passed all and some of them are perhaps jus what i deserved.. not as marginal as i thought eh?

relationship
relationship - I've got this damn weird mindset - I've always think a relationship can be maintain for a very long time easily (like forever) as long as both got the heart to do so.. like the mushy song "my heart will go on" u know?.. the reason for breakups is simply- one person don't want to go on anymore (or in some worse senarios- both of them doesn't bother to carry on).. so as long as both person got the "heart".. things can be fine.. no one should let go..
why complicate things when one can be much prettier and easier in simple forms?
I still don't believe in FOREVER, haha dont get me wrong..
still searching but if u are in one, just be more generous & patient, don't let down on your heart..
he told me he learn some things from me when he's with me.. =) but I told him each of us grow from time to time.. Seeing a better light, perhaps changing for the "better" as we age & get exposed to new things, so vice versa, I learn things from him as well..
he told me my "flaws" and his reasons for being skeptical.. I listened
Respect the differences! else someone would have to change.. the best if both compromise but keep expectations to the minimal.. keep ur feelings positive.. thing may not work out (nothings impossible as well as nothings forever).. but Goodluck! Seize the moment for there will be no room for regrets..
How to judge between too egoistic & mere high self-esteem? positive or negative? Subjective I say.. its jus differentiate by a fine line.. different pple will have different set of standards, opinions & tolerance for it.. why be so self-defensive? we all could be wrong.. u can be damn wrong, I can be wrong.. why not? don't deprive me from conveying my msgs..
if by now u don't understand what i mean.. it should be the way.. Im jus blogging for myself..

I watched The BreakUp at The Cathy! I kinda always mention the movies I watch in my blog (so boring hor) but its because I like Jennifer Aniston.. I watched her Rumour has it, Derailed and now this.. and I still find her very charming, witty and pretty! =D
I can relate to this story very well.. so i guess most couples can ba.. the arguements are so honest & realistic.. funny but not "great".. ..oh ya.. half of us were curious of how's Jennifer's new bf is like right? And although this "Gary", Vince is not handsome at all, I still consider him quite pleasant-looking ba.. I think he can afford to shed a few more pounds though..
Arsenal drew their opening match at Emirates Stadium with Aston V! =(.. nvm... we will do better... without Pires, Campbell & Ashley Cole... Abit more handicap hor?
Oh ya.. forgot to mention i tried another flavour at Ben & Jerry's, Cherry Gracia. Nice! i've always like cherries on top of my icecreams.. this flavour allows me to do away with that..

my weekend
my weekend was a mixture of the good & bad.. alot of times we tend to blog our fustrations more so this time round.. perhaps i should jus fill in here with the pretty ones and leave the rest behind
I finally saw the pretty fireworks (the france one) on Sat! near marina square with my dearest one and to me, its like a mini dream come true.. i didnt have the best spot neither the best mood that moment but.. im easily-contented girl and im glad to c it..
I almost had a chance to go on a much desired holiday with my dear friend, ... but it didnt work out although I really yearn * 1000 for it.. I had to give it up on my part becoz of my silly mistake.. Almost.. things could only get better and not worse the next time ba.. =) I should... console myself that I need not worry bout the expenses at least?
I had a very sweet dream! yes.. its only a dream! but mind u.. its a wonderful lovely dream come true in the dream.. haha... a dream i had pin for more than 8 years.. had finally been fulfilled in my dreams... so ironic but still.. better than nothing..
sometimes, when u hope for the hopeless too much, u have sub-conciously let it go alrdy.. this dream can only make me happier and not less..
Soccer is back.. community shield jus ended with Liverpool edging over Chelsea this time but what matters really is this means a start of a Brand new EPL season.. yey! Can finally c my new stadium (Arsenal's one of coz) and new/old players in action..
forgot to mention im HAPPY my super idol Dunga is appointed coach of Brazil national squad.. I cross my fingers and wish he can last 4 yrs til the next WorldCup2010 to lead the Brazilians!!
I want to start reading my book soon.. been so busy and also busy finding excuses to start.. hopefully by this week I can do so.. heard its good & one of the best sellers.. will share more if i can eventually start and complete it.. haha.. "don't wanna overpromise".. one of my all-time principle..
Christina Aguilera's & Justin Timberlake's album is finally releasing soon (by Sept 06).. Anticipating them to blow me away upon their arrivals..

Ben & Jerry ice cream
Im indulging in new stuff again, this time, we bought 2 tubs of Ben & Jerry Icecream from Cold Storage! (yummy yummy) @ $11.50 each
The Strawberry CheeseCake flavour is very special & nice!! Once I start digging, I could hardly stop (sounds like Pringles eh).. The other one I bought is New Yolk Super fudge Chunks flavour I think, is very chocolate & yummy too.. so troubled.. dont know next time should i try other flavours or stick to this 2 since I like it sooo much.. haha..
Alternatively, U can still go to Billy Bombers to drink their Milkshake loh.. heard that its from Ben & Jerry as well.. (the milkshake there) Its addictive~!
Anyway, strange, that time I went Great World City and eat at the Ben & Jerry icecream parlour there and it was so abit disappointing, perhaps I chose a wrong flavour that day.. Oror digging from the huge tub is more enjoyable?

Those who know me will know that i prefer Elvin than Julian in the recent MediaCorp 9pm show..
I don't really fancy local dramas anymore... so its only once in awhile I catch any MediaCorp's drama.. so these two recent shows are the considered exceptions... one is becoz of Fann Wong then I watch (the one Chen Hanwei & Edmund Chen fight over her).. This AiQingLingDuC is becoz give Elvin face then I watch loh...
His role inside.. Weixiang is Mr Good Guy wor.. therefore I like the ending very much.. Touching.. the unconditional love from him is so rare & heartwarming... yet considered old-fashion storyline if u ask me.. haha..
anyway.. Kudos to the scriptwriter of the creation of this Mr nice guy character WeiXiang and Elvin for potraying it well.. needless to say.. Hes cute!..

The Lake House
Caught the sparks of Keanu Reeves & Sandra Bullock last weekend int their show The Lake House.. Was pretty amaze how Sandra Bullock & Keanu Reeves both dont seem to age at all.. thats how hollywood celebrity works ba I suppose..
The show was.. fine for me.. as I have nothing against the fantasies and frictional stuffs..what I meant is actually, this kind of story only appears in movies and not reality.. but not every movie we watch has to be based on true life stories rite?.. so by watching these unrealistic romantic ones can be still entertaining at times.. I like the Lake House and the waiting part... dont doubt me.. if u have watched already, I got to tell u I would surely wait like them.. but oh well... still, its Frictional.. I can spin it as pretty as I want too!

Yey... Italia Won!!! Im a happy girl!!

really dont see him deserving the WorldCup Golden Ball.. Lousy!! I want Fabio Cannavaro to win the award instead!!!

Italy v France
I didn't update more on WorldCup because Im just tired la.. Been losing so much sleep recently, catching most of the games.. so no energy to blog
Since the last WorldCup, I realize I've changed.. I used to weep when my fav teams got eliminated but I no longer do that.. haha.. in fact, when Brazil lost.. I thought and console myself its ok because they didn't play well in that match at all.. no good chances..no rhythm, moreover Match winner came from Thierry Henry so the more I think its justifiable (im a huge Arsenal fan mah.. Lose also must lose to my own people).. Im more sore about Sweden's exit in fact den Brazil's since I thought they deserve to score at least and its a pity we lose the game.. We had alot of chances but no luck..
Anyway, France v Italy, I want stay neutral one.. but I cant lah.. I prefer Italy! Go Italia!! Go Go go!! They play some beautiful games like the one against Ghana, Ukraine & Germany.. Although they won Aussie with a penalty they don't really deserved, but they prove themselves in the other games they played.. Esp the one against Host nation Germans.. Although full time is a draw game, they obviously are on the upperhand, dominating the game.. I think they deserve the title more.. not like France who scrapped past Portugal.. I really think Portugal did so much better in the semifinals but France got just better luck that day..
Zidane.. I hate Zidane lah (I think Im the only one).. he's going retire rite? Don't let him win at his last WorldCup leh! **Evil Evil** who ask him steal the 1998 trophy from my fav Brazils..
Anyway back to the same old theory, if France were to win, they better be playing well in the Finals to win, not by mere luck.. if they really play better den Italians, den i will have nothing else to say, must be rational and won't be too sore bout it. By then, hopefully match winner still come from my skillful Henry too la.. haha

Shopping Addict
Yesterday I went shopping and spend lotsa money again..
=( with Sem 1 school fees jus around the corner, I'm really feeling constraint of the tight budget now..
think I better stop myself from Spree-ing in GSS again.. anyway.. my new dress wasn't even on sale at all.. not even one cent discount!!! haizzz... but its pretty purple though..
I also bought the hp thingy which is in the shape of a jersey.. erm... "jersey miniature?" U know those soccer jersy shaped hp accessories.. Sooooooooo cute!! butbut BRAZIL's one are all sold out! whineessss ! in so much demand man! sianzzz... XXXXXX
Haizz... so I resort to Henry's (France's no 12).. not becoz i like France.. but becoz I idolize Mighty Gunners, Henry.. I bought one for brother too, its the Portugal's C. Ronaldo's one.. but then, realise he don't actually fancy it that much actually.. hahaha.. coz dont have his idol's one.. no Rooney's, no Korean's..
Hmm... anyway we shopped at the Icon's.. My first time there...Surprisingly not much crowd.. wonder if they can survive there for long..
Oh ya... another Worldcup Cutie I must promote, great skills deadly cute looks: Brazil's Kaka!!!
Finally a good looking brazilian player!... been supporting them and this is the first time the team actually has respectable good-looking figure.. hahhahaa... Needless to say.. He's Mine!!!
Buy me his jersey will U? Brazil No's 8 (same as my all-time idol Brazil ex-skipper cum Worldcup winner, Dunga!)
anyway besides the looks.. he's also very eye-catching on the field.. making superb runs and tackles here and there, confident, fast & tactful.. give him more time for growth and he may become another Ronaldinho or Rivaldo..

Oh ya.. Sweden won.. yippeee!.. close shave..1-0 all thanks to Ljungberg's 89th min header.. I watched the match until want heart-attack liao.. haha.. Now Sweden got high chance of getting through the next round..
England vs Paraguay.. England still not convincing overall but Gerrald's goal was pretty! Luckily I had him in my Fantasy Premiere league team.. Cool!!.. I got quite a number of points thanks to these players helping me score.. haaahaa..
My Arsenal Van Persie (also in my team) scores from free-kick.. WooooHooo.. Goal! Young & talented.. Hope Fabregas can pull something off soon..
Been sleeping very little since I watch most 12am & 3am fixtures as well.. despite working full-time.. and now I must try to be concern about the "heatiness" I felt and darkrings, eyebags & pimples invading and attacking me..
I am happy & contented watching WorldCup but also am becoming an ugly old maid!! hahhaaa..
I don't know if this WorldCup is really gonna indirectly cost me my boyfriend.. but my interest is my interest.. passion is passion.. changing too much I would not be me anymore.. Compromise is good & important.. but still in MODERATION.. =)
I remembered reading an article before,
on girlfriends changing too much to be like part of their man.. Clinging on him totally, behaving like him, changing to impress him, worshipping him and abandon their own character and interest to becoming a part of him.. like Katie Holmes on Tom Cruise.. Unhealthly!..
Eh.. Im abit out of point already.. haha.. probably due to the tiredness hitting me la.. Gonna rest as much as I can to gear myself for more matches!..

Another WorldCup entry
I wanna be a full-time Worldcup viewer! sit at home shake leg watch every match!! ** dream dream
I've almost watch all the teams played one round.. watched most of the first round matches.. now left wif Spain.. the team that impressed me so far is Italy.. cool man.. they had good Worldcup chances wor I think.. good defence & pretty skills.. I didnt manage to catch England's performance because I'm occupied at friend's wedding dinner that nite.. and also Argentina & Czech's ive missed.. but the rest of the teams I've watched were ehhh... not satisfactory..not quite there yet.. my Brazil was ok.. but still, i think got more to be displayed ba I guess... Kaka, Totti, Toni, Robben, Kewell, Van persie all caught my attention..
and of course I enjoyed watching my favs play: Sweden & Brazil.. Irahimovich, Larsson, Ljungberg, Wihermsson... but drew Trinidad & Tabago... haizzz.. big sighz and big worry for me!! super worried they cant get thru.. Please help them ( my Sweden) win Paraguay & England!!! They need abit more luck really.. becoz against Trinidad really very super unlucky wor!! like pple cast blackmagic on them... 101 attempts no goals...
Brazil look abit shabby in defense... esp to Croatia counter-attacks.. pls use Gilberto Silva leh! They can't afford everytime everyone play attack and leave only poor Lucio & Juan defending.. so flimsy..

I'm so sick of Brazil-fans pretenders.. Namely those who wear Brazil jerseys & attire but they are not true Brazilian supporters.. Just wearing it because they like the bright yellow or green color or because it's a popular team... So sick of them! Disgusting pretenders! Only true blue fans like me understand the passion when I wear the "Brazilian kits" wor.. Shoo away those pretenders!... Irritating siah!..

I support them for a long duration le, over a few WorldCups (think since USA'94 and brazil even back to Italian'90s ) & I'm still sticking to them, no matter they win or lose.. becoz they are simply great!
Not becoz of player's looks.. as u can see... Brazil players dont have the looks lah!! so near yet so far.. dejected
My Arsenal lost.. sad.. down to 10 men by 18th min..lost a crucial goal keeper.. Lead by good header til 70th min.. think they did great.. too much odds against them... the game was spoilt for Arsenal since 18th min.. painful for me.. guess even more devastating for them.. But still Henrick Larsson is my Swede idol.. being torn apart by him is still acceptable coz hes brilliant..

Movie "Inside Man" was nice.. abit draggy but still.. Its a nice clever plot.. Like Denzer Washington & Clive Owen's role inside... A pity Jodie Foster's role seem relatively smaller..

My friends always commented bout the lil amount that I eat in mealtimes.. so I guess people who don't really know me well must be puzzled where I got my fats from... Or maybe they might be thinking I'm a dieting freak.. Truth is.. Nope!... here a list of sinful yet happy foods that I love to indulged in & would not resist at all (I'm not even on diet anyway, cant be bothered at all, jus used to eating smaller meals in order to junk more... hahhaa)

Hanamaki from Sakae sushi.. The raw salmon sashimi with mayonnaise.. yummy!.. I love all nice jap Sashimi!
Strawberry milkshake from Billy Bombers.. I can finish the whole giantic cup! the cheese fries is nice as well..
Peachtart from Delifrance.. the custard is super sweet siah.. i like!
The Strawberry Cream chocolate (Connoissew or Pink Lady brand) available from the Candy Empire Shop... give me 1 kg of it!
Dark bitter Chocolate cake from The Cafe Cartel.. (new discovery!)
The Mango Sago from this particular Dessert specialty shop (think is Ah Chew Desserts) near Bugis... really mangoey & sweet..
Oh ya.. The Fried Rice from Din Tai Fung restaurant.. whether its the plain egg fried rice or seafood one.. all very nice, the xiao long baos also!

The light
Such a strange person she was... For awhile, she seemed so uptight, extremely depressed, dejected, and super edgy. Everything else seems to be of so unimportance.. Nothing can lift her spirits.. No matter how many other stuffs she did that can distract her or she had on hand that need her attention, she has no mood nor interest..
Then all of a sudden, on fine Sunday morning while she's taking the train, she claims "she saw the light" and truly awaken, soooo out of the blue.. Everything seems to be in place for her again.. Weirdo! But good for her lah... no point for her trying too hard to forget something or hold on to something, to act brave or pretend to see herself as weak... Good for her! U ask her what englightened her, she has no idea.. what she has gain or learnt? no idea either.. hahaa
Personally, for me I think there must be moderation in everything.. not too much not too little.. I have no idea what's she's going through really but since she's okay already, I'm glad and relieved!

People(mainly friends) always ask me what do I look for in a guy, how's my ideal bf like? I've always had a hard time answering this question then now I finally realize..Its so damn obvious! All I need is the one that I've had feelings for and the only quality that I look for in this person is he has to be nice.. As in real nice.. As in Geniunely nice.. I don't need a real suave or dashing guy, nor did I set any standards in height or weight or age or financially stable or other good traits.. I don't need one who will always have to be there for me or humorous to cheer me up.. But the bottomline is.. I'm seriously attracted to Kind people out there..Those gentleman-ly, patient good-natured ones and this is ample enough to remain contented and faithful for.. I just love nice people! May sound easy to find.. but not really.. A lot of people are too self-centered to spare a thought for others.. or simply trying too hard to survive in the scheming world, therefore got corrupted, perhaps being nice is not easy to survive.. Then again, it might sound impossible to find one but there really are nice gentlemen that I know of, not perfect god but great nice people and therefore, they are mostly happily attached and they deserved it lah.. =)

Overwhelm!
I'm overwhelmed as Arsenal beat Juventus in the lst leg at Highbury. As usual, I woke up at 2.30am to watch this much anticipated Quarter finals of Champion League Its so refreshing and exciting to see good players I haven't seen for a long time in action, namely, Zlatan Ibrahimovich, Adrian Mutu, David Trezeguet and Patrick Vieira of Juventus!! These pple whom I didn't catch for a long long while since Worldcup action.. Too bad on the overall game, Juve underperform and my named ones were quite off-form in the match as well.. Arsenal simply domintated.. Think Juve were not even close..
Its abit ironic if you ask me, since Viera seems to have left Gunners for better European performance & prospects but its still our side who have done better so far.. I hope this 2 goals cushion can really help us advance to semi's on the 5th Apr.. Dont misunderstand me for mocking at Patrick, as I still have great respect for my former skipper really, and it sort of upset me to see reviews critising Vieira just SOLELY based on yest'day performance alone... Every players got their off peak days mah..I still strongly acknowledge him as a great player with leadership quality..
Anyway back to my team performance, Im still very happy Fabregas has come to prove to everyone of his class & skills... I have spotted this rare gem months ago (got my most likings among his peers Flamini, Van persie) and as long as he stay level-headed and continue progress gradually, he can be A huge star.. Anyway..stil got one more leg, semifinals & finals... Hope Arsenal don't be complacent and eventually win the trophy! Dream Dream!

Thanks to my supportive sweet peers! =)
I have been upset over an issue recently.. not really terrible the depression type..but something enough that tore me apart a little..but Im Fine now.. All Thanks to my supportive nice friends around who are constantly giving me advises and listening ears... =D not forgetting they also shower care and concern.. so grateful!
Last nite I went retail therapy because of this issue.. I think I tend to manage and cope with my own feelings myself in order not to be too much of a nuisance to others as well.. therefore, I spree and spend $200 a day! On little things here and there, Oh my god...pls don't get me upset anymore my dear,... Else I would be broke sooner or later.. so irrationally uncontrollable when I'm upset.. Among those not so important stuffs I bought out of impulse, was this Carrie Underwood's CD... hmmm, I have such a contradicting character!.. I like Bo Bice more yet it's Carrie's album that I purchase eventually.. I think it is due to an album review which I saw that Bo's album is not exactly as rock as he should be.. so sort of decided to wait for his next instead..
Anyway I simply like the song "Inside your Heaven"!.. Hope u guys like it too! no matter its Carrie's or Bo's version..

Vain?
Recently, I caught the movie "Date movie" and as usual, there's this plot inside similar like ShallowHal and that Sammi's & Andy's movie.. where a very fat ugly lady transform miraculously to this decent pretty sweet darling and at the same time, looking for a sweet romance fairytale which also miraculously appear upon this transformation.. It's an exaggerated version on screen of course, but it kinda realistically reflects on how a persons looks & figure are so damn impt to humans & human relations..
I always emphasize that looks are not that impt to me as I subconsciously judge other pple, I prefer to feel by my heart and not looks.. but on myself, I realise the importance of self-maintenance.. Call it vain if you want but supposingly, its just to make myself better by not feeling too ugly or out of this world.. I believe its true that there are no ugly individual because each of us has his own unique distinct beauty beneath and if you bother to work on it, none can be any ugly at all..
Example if u r fat.. go dieting.. fleshy pple are pretty attractive to men too..
Think u are Ugly? work on the strengths, in this case, cover up the flaws.. no one is perfect anyway.. Right?
May all of us stay pretty always!

We did it!
We won Real Madrid! My Arsenal are through to Quarter finals! After a tough fight at Highbury, we drew! Therefore we are advancing and leaving the Spanish Giants behind! Its too early to tell the chances of winning the title but to me... This is already an achievement.. =D
Anyway out of the soccer topic, I thought David Beckham look so much better with his short haircut rather than his past ugly longhair mop... haha.. In comparision, I like his present one very much! Apart from watching him play, I started to wonder, why an establish football player like him choose Victoria in the first place.. I mean as a soccer player, his skills were good, quite outstanding in fact.. but Victoria? erm... seems like a bimbo now.. maybe bimbo's too strong a word for her.. but I think he deserves someone better.. Not the Rebecca Loos.. but perhaps.. you know? maybe someone bigger in terms of status or prettier with better elegant airs? U know like.. Jennifer Aniston? Jennifer Alba? Cameron Diaz?... enough of my nonsense..

Reese Witherspoon as Best Leading Actress Oscar Winner
Finally got "Rumour has it" by Jennifer Aniston and Kevin Costner last nite... i waited for ages for this friend whom we promise to watch with each other, wait until neck longlong, everyone else already caught it le... haha... small production but still pretty entertaining.. humourous here and there.. esp her crude grandmother.. storyline abit lame but I like seeing pretty Aniston as Sarah.. Reminds me of her Rachel role in F.R.I.E.N.D.S...

Barcelona & Chelsea
I struggled out of bed as I heard the match going on from the living room tv...
Chelsea was just in the lead. I was quite tempted to go back to bed but after watching a few minutes, I stayed glued.. Barcelona were doing very well and putting on a very good match for me to anticipate.. True enough, they turned things around and scored 2 goals therefore won.. I was happily admiring my fav stars in action... Henrik Larsson and Ronaldinho... dont be mistaken! I didnt support them because they are famous and big.. I support them for a long time already!

Real Madrid 0-1 Arsenal
yey! we won real madrid for Champion League 1st Leg at the away game!... cant believe it right?
Im soooo proud of them...my gunners, they played as if its WorldCup finals... I still believe anything can happened in 2nd leg at Highbury, but this is jus so overwhelming for now... I wasnt even sleepy at 4-5.30am in the morning... Can u believe what a great fight my gunners put in?... We were more superior in the match.. more chances and better form... only David beckham was on form for Real..
Cross our fingers and may we sail thru the 2nd leg (beating madrid) and gradually advance to be European Champions eventually... tough.. but at least got a glimpse of chance... =D

Rumour has it
so the Jennifer Aniston show I wanna catch is titled "Rumour has it" and starts on 23rd Feb.. Someone pls bring me to watch this show k? hahaa
Last nite was my last Law class for this sem.. there's stil a couple of revision classes of course.. but I'm already feeling wobbly.. Exams are coming and classes are ending, so am I prepared at all??? Nope! huge big fat NOPE!... argghhh...geee... better start some revision soon and knock some sense of urgency to myself... hahaha
I caught the American Idol on Starworld TV before i went to bed quite late..

the Cowboy really left a deep impression to me... touching story but really voice cannot make it lah... *shakes head... but i like him though... hes seems so nice... and at only age of 18... although eliminated.. i think he earn this great experience and exposure..

yest'day was valentines day.. (my philipines colleague call it "Happy Hearts Day" hahaha)
everywhere was so crowded, restaurant queues were pretty scary, didn't really have a date but went dining and catching movie with an old friend.. Most new fun films were not out yet, I wanna watch the one by Jennifer Aniston but also NOT released yet. So we tried the movie Match Point, u can check it out on the webbie below

not bad, because we didnt expect much.. so the 124 mins movie turn out surprisingly decent.. but it make me further lose confidence in men.. go catch it then you would understand what i mean.. went TCC eat... meal was super ex due to the delibrate v-day mark-up i suppose.. then the service was super super slow!! its not as crowded as other restaurants so i dont really understand why its speed is so poor..
Tired siah.. reach home one plus...
Still gotta climb out of my bed to see Arsenal lost to Liverpool at the 87th minute!! so unlucky! =( wor....

Updates
Never post for a longlong time due to lack of access for internet and the busy workload because auditors were in town last week and public holidays... So I shall brief some of the happenings here..
I went for a Corporate Taxation seminar on the 17th at Swissotel Merchant Court.. woah.. The course was so tough yet boring!.. Abit dry, I meant the contents.... the taxation terms n materials were like so new to me... alot of things for me to pick up still..
I watched Derailed (by Jennifer Aniston)...Thought the story was pretty alright.. now looking forward to watch Memoirs Of a Geisha if I got the chance..
I love my jan2006 phone, the flowery Nokia 7370.. Unique is the key..sweet & autumn as my friend put it.. but I really wouldn't want to be holding it with everyone else... so if it gets too common, I will drop it...
Chinese New Year is around the corner, I was telling my friends, the amount of new yr clothes I buy never will seem enough, the more the merrier!! That's why I think I should be the first to get caught if theres a most spendthrift award around here...
I was about to put in some serious considerations for resolutions for the new yr ahead... but i since I thought I could never fulfill it, I hesitated.. The only resolution I achieved the last around was My driving license...*shakes head... nothing else.. Disappointing yeah? nope I decided not to be too hard on myself sometimes... Life can be happier if u are easily-contented.. I need to strike the balance between being greedily ambitious and too sloppily slacking.. I'm pretty happy at this moment.. I know what I want, look forward and is in full control..
Oh ya, stray off a little bit... I just read from the 8 days that Chad Michael Murray & Sophia Bush had break-up last Sept... so unexpected!.. none of my business also but divorces & breakups seem so common there... abit sad eh.. but I still support handsome Chad! hahahaha...

Christmas Spirit!
have been shopping & buying small xmas gifts for friends! so simply busy & broke...
nvm.. waiting for payday then no need suffer le... hope friends dont mind my small tokens.. because really really broke la =P
watched King Kong last weekend & like it alot!.. So touching but I find the human beings very cruel and greedy... My poor King Kong so ke lian..
Already got a few Xmas gift so far.. but for those who dont know what to get for me...

Aging!
For the past few days, I met with a number of friends whom I never seen for a longlong time I think.. Met up with Poly grp mates at the famous Blk 85 Market, & my good friend Elsie, told me she's going to ROM next yr! =) she's already got her own new flat in Punggol! Good for her... She's also going to be promoted soon she says, to AM...
Met up with Ex-colleagues of the previous company at Peranakan House in Meritius.. its first time seeing Michelle, Heather & Emiline after such a long while! Michelle become even more petite in size than ever & She joked she stressed in her work at Chartered Semi.. haha.. Met up with Maggie first time since she's back from her holiday in China and also Sylvia, and we also went Fisherman's V till quite late last evening.. (although I didn't get to see wanted to see...)
Think my age is really catching up with me... Friday at Newsroom with some colleagues and ex-colleagues and their friends, I danced for like merely 30-45 mins I already felt super exhausted & sweating all over... I remembered during the poly days Jam & Hop for 2-3 hours or Clubbing back then was so frequent & easy.. haiz.. Old! Think I should better enjoy my last few yrs of self-proclaimed youth! haha!

I had such great fun on Sat 3rd Dec.. took photos.. play zip zap, truth or dare, 007, Froggy games etc... really laff until pengz with those forfeit... meeting up wif Celestine, Audrey, Joyce Stella, Pearlyn, Anna, Ernie, Junjie, Elvin and all the rest was so Cool! Sharon's son Hans was super bubbly n active... we all loved him.. first time I felt the "camp/ workshop kind of feeling" in ages eversince poly days...

Enjoy swimming & catching up with friends
Friday evening, after work and after some rain, I finally went swimming (leisurely) after such a long while since I last swam.. and it felt great!.. Although half the time we were like, just soaking water & yakking in the jacuzzi.. haha.. I still enjoy it very much... hmmm... I doubt she reads my blog.. but Xiaomei.. if u are reading this.. I wanna say to u: I love U! Let's try to go everyweek! =P
Yesterday, went to school for POA class and went to catch the movie "Exorcism of Emily Rose" after class.. Perhaps I anticipated it too much so therefore, I didn't find it that super nice or scary but just found it pretty much ok.. We watch at Jurong!!.. haha.. out of all places.. so freaking far from our house in the east.. but u know....heh heh...as my school in Clementi.. not that surprising I went there right?... Oh yah.. and my friend introduce me to a place for drinking at Changi Village.. nice & quiet place.. quite similar to Fisherman's village.. next time u all can try go there drink at night also if u r looking for new hangouts...
Later, I'm going meet up with gd friend & go shopping /drinking.. =P Time & Money not enough!!
Don't know why but I'm already in the mood to start buying Christmas pressies already! Haha..too soon right?

Kendra is hired
okie... Kendra is the Apprentice hired.. =) They are both great but apparently, Mr Trump also likes her better. Glad we finally had a female Apprentice at last! I thought Kendra might have blow her chances when she shed tears in the boardroom which is such a big NO-NO as far as I'm concern but luckily it didn't affect the verdict. Tana's emphasize on her own brilliant idea of the shape of her brochure didn't win the audiences too.. I thought it was really a bad move to be so "aggressive" at that point... Just show the crumbled side of her... Anyway they both gain my respect and hope one day.. I could do just as well..

The Apprentice
The Apprentice is at its season finale, and the results going to be out.. With only the two ladies left, One From the Street-Smart grp, the other from Book-Smart grp, I thought the competition is very intense. I didn't follow this show initially and started from somewhere closer to the back but I thought these 2 ladies really made women proud. Its rare you will see a female Apprentice being chosen but since now its down to this two ladies, the next Apprentice will definitely be a woman! yey! Its not easy coming all the way beating so many other thousands of potential candidates and out of which, still edging over strong talented male competition like Alex & Craig.. I'm quite interested in the show because its very much related to the Marketing courses I've pursued and the plot was near to the day-to-day working class we are in.
Manage to catch Kendra & Tana running their last task in the final lap of the competition, each launching & managing the entire impt event.. Of course there are some bound to be cock-ups here & there for both of them but the capability to organise, familiarize, oversee, dedicate, run the so00-many misc tasks in the event is impressive. Kendra's Playstation new game launch seem apparently smaller compared to Tana's Olympic event, therefore earning lesser fair of coverage compared to Tana's, but I thought she seemed amazingly organized and alert, and also more cohesiveness in her team compared to Tana's incohesive and unhappy team. I thought if the result is purely based on just this round, Kendra may outshone Tana on the overall leadership quality and flow of the event.. Of course I wouldn't know what this employer is looking for so its still very hard to guess the verdict, especially when Tana have always portray a capable independent & collected image so she still has a good chance.

Bingo!
haha.. I was drinking my bubble tea I bought from marine parade in the office when my colleagues took notice of the sealed transparent cover on it. You know the colorful sealed plastic on top of the bubbletea cup... My colleague had the one with the Sagittarius sign on it while the other had a lame (cold) joke on it.. Coincidentally, Mine (Honey Green tea =D) was the Virgo sign one! I'm Virgoan leh... kekez... there, on top of the plastic seal, it was written, suitable career path for Virgos: Accountant, Editor and Critic.. haha.... double coincidence wor! I'm in the accounts field mah! I'm in the correct path! haha ( editor n critic sounds exactly like what I want to be as well).. as I proudly presented it to my co-partner to see and purposely irritate him, asked him what I work as kiddingly, he almost flopped.. haha..
Soccer for the past few days has been fine for me (I meant Arsenal of coz!) .. I mean 3-0 for Arsenal win over Sunderland in League Cup and 1-0 over Man City in EPL is already a satisfying result to me (despite the Pires Penalty stunt he did which is so embarrassing) ..
Oh Gosh! I just read from the soccernet webbie that Henry says he will considering pull similar tricks on the penalty spot again! Can someone knock some sense into him! hahaha... haiyoh! I still love him (and the rest of the Gunners) but pls don't embarrass yourself anymore my dear!

another flop
arsenal lost to west brom this weekend... sad! enough said.. too much whining is probably bad for my health... anyway It wasnt even shown, they were broadcasting other matches in the meantime.. so dont ask me what happen? how Carter scored? what Kanu did to his former club?? ... I DONT know la!... *shakes head =( no more EPL champions title le.. perhaps now can concentrate on their weakest European Champions League?? but since I already say its their weakest.. its quite unlikely.. so demoralising at such early stage of the season since there's nothing to look forward to... haiz...
I also caught the mid-night show of the Skeleton Key.. the one by Kate Hudson... there was this twist in the plot that make it quite an interesting one.. better than the Dark Water.. more depth than Corpse Bride, (the spooke is different from the typical Korean horror movie, The Red Shoes) do catch it if you are free...
Woah, I realised Ive been watch so much horror movies nowadays..
and ya... I've learned something from a show Ive been following closely... "when a person tells a lie, he/she may have embedded true emotions/ feelings in the lie" .. so dont be too upset when someone lies to u or when I lie to u? =P..

I want a new Face
Sometimes during the weekend, at weird odd hours, I would be tuning on the SCV, browsing the TV shows for the sake of killing time & lazing around.. And I caught the "I want a New Face" on the MTV channel twice.. Its the show where they featured the people going through plastic surgeries just for the sake of looking like certain celebrities they liked or should I say WORSHIP? oh gosh! I certainly hope their intentions were to just look better/ prettier and not doing the surgery for really wanting to become THAT celebrity.. We all know its impossible right? No point imitating a star no matter how big he or she is?
Okie, Among the two I watched, One wanted to be Pamela Anderson and the other wanted to be Jennifer Aniston.. The first was already very pretty and "BIG" initially, if you know what I mean but she still is not contented enough obviously, the result = SUPER BIG.. hahaha... pointless to me!! so burden for what?? but if this helped builds her self-esteem.. by all means, I thought it was a brave attempt... The second was for Jennifer Aniston, and I really could see a minor small resemblance.. I mean the smile she has resembles Jennifer, and after going though so much various surgery and most imptly, alot of Liposuction... I thought she look great!! because she is so much slimmer n curvier.. but for the Jennifer Aniston face, she is still the same.. She still look like herself..
Conclusion: I won't consider any plastic surgery for myself.. Im contented with cosmetics..

I cant stand COPYCATS
I thought I could be more positive (+ve) since its a long time since I blog but I cant help but to reprimand certain type of people ( or so called friends) here. I simply can't stand copycats anymore!!! Sorry for being so worked up & arrogant but this injustice feelings has been accumulated for sometime already! I know certain things/ trend/ or even feelings are common & not copyright , but my ideas and my style is simply my own! I WONT EVER believe out of the blue, we are always similar.. esp when u r always 1 day- 2 weeks slower ! So get ur own life & Ur own PERSONALITY for goodness sake! Its the only way to make u the pretty real true self! I wont consider u a friend if u continue copying & love to sneak around and "coincidentally" b the same in behavior and things u buy.... GO AWAY! (its more then 1 I encounter)
anyway.. =P.. jus in case my REAL friends start getting paranoid.. pls don't! I'm not talking bout U really (esp if you think U are not the type above) and also esp if you r my loved ones and I totally wouldn't mind being Siamese Twins with U, *wink wink*...
